Premier League clubs are monitoring developments with Swansea striker Andre Ayew.
The Ghana international captain has been one of the brighter performers on an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Welsh club.
He has scored six goals this season and has been relied upon to lead the line with injuries to Bafetimbi Gomis and Eder.
However, Swansea’s fall has prompted interest from rival clubs. The 26-year-old turned down offers from Italy, France, and Germany to move to Swansea on a free transfer in the summer and signed a lucrative four-year contract.
He had hoped they would kick on for European qualification, but the season has turned into one of struggle
Ayew, a Liverpool supporter as a boy, is a proven performer on the international stage and eligible to play in European competition prompting clubs in the top six to consider making offers over the coming weeks.
Swansea are looking for a striker themselves but would still make a profit having signed Ayew on a free in the summer.
