Ex-Ghana FA chief Dr Nyaho Tamakloe claims none of the current generation of Black Stars players cannot match the commitment level of late CK Gyamfi.

Gyamfi, the deceased Ghana legend, was buried last weekend at aged, 86.

The late Ghana supremo is credited for coaching Ghana to win the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions- a feat which was later equaled by Egypt’s Hassan Shehata.

And former Ghana FA chairman Dr Nyaho Tamakloe says the country cannot produce another legend cast in the mould of CK Gyamfi.

“The sort of mark that CK Gyamfi has left, I don’t think that any of the present footballers can leave such a mark,” he told Accra-based Starr FM

“Their commitment to the national level is not that high. They play football more for money so they will not leave an indelible mark in the annals of football history.

He was the first African player to play in Germany when he joined Fortuna Dusseldorf in 1960.
