Ethics Committee to sit on Wa African United, Techiman City case on December 31

The Ethics Committee will hear the alleged bribery and match fixing case between Techiman City and Wa African on Thursday December 31 at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.

This follows the Appeal Committee’s decision to nullify an earlier Ethics Committee decision and call for the case to be referred to a properly constituted body to deal with it.

The investigation process was initiated after Wa African United petitioned the GFA with allegations of bribery and alleged match fixing against Techiman City FC.

This was after their Match day 22 game in the 2014/15 GN Bank Division One League.

All parties have been duly informed about next Thursday’s sitting and will be expected to attend.
