Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye says despite the disappointing nature of the results in the friendly games, the trip to Libya has left the entire team excited.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners lost 3-0 in the first game against Al Ahli and later 2-0 in the second game against Tehaa Sports.

The embattled Rainbow club has failed to win the league in the last six years but hopes are high after appointing Japanese born and American trained Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

Goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye says despite the uninspiring nature of the results he was certain the effects of the games in Libya will help them for the season ahead.

“The trip was very important and you could see the delight with all the players,” Adams told Accra based CITI-SPORTS

“We played very well in the second games and despite the disappointing nature of the results I am certain that we will be able to have the impact on our performance in the coming season.”
