2015 dealt graciously with Actress/Model, Selly Galley. She won a lot of awards, brand ambassadorial deals, had Ghana’s biggest celebrity wedding and gained a lot of movie features.
Selly’s hard work is gaining increased recognition and the industry is rewarding her accordingly. A while ago, the Ghana Movie Award scheme, chaired by Fred Nuamah, released a list of nominees for the 6th edition of the awards.
The list seemed like a guest list for an all-star party on the Hollywood strip, with prominent names like Jimmy Jean Louis, Ama K Abebrese, Becca, Stonebwoy, Idris Elba, Selly Galley and more.
Selly, who was nominated in the best-supporting actress category, explained the nomination as a blessing and a milestone.
Speaking to the newly married actress, she was full of praise for her fans for trumpeting her works, patronizing and supporting her. When asked about marriage, she responded by saying, “It’s a beautiful thing, my husband and I lean on each other for support and are madly in love”.
The actress who is married to Cartel Big J, one-half of Ghanaian music group, however ,failed to respond to rumors that claim she is responsible for the groups reunion.
She implores her fans to vote for her on every platform, so the award can come home and they can all “Sellybrate”
