Midfielder Samuel Afful is begging his club Hasaacas to give him permission to join Medeama SC.

The 20-year-old is desperate to join the Yellow and Mauves over his desire to play in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Medeama, holders of the MTN FA Cup title have reportedly had several offers for the former Ghana U20 star turned down.

Hasaacas appear unwilling to let Afful who is also wanted by Asante Kotoko to leave and have thus put a hefty price tag on his forehead to scare off suitors.

But the midfielder is pleading to club officials of the Sekondi-based club to allow him make a move to Medeama where he feels he will get a big enough platform to showcase his talent to the world by playing in Africa.

‘I have received several calls from some board members of Medeama asking my stand and the club’s stand concerning their bid for me,’ Afful told Oilcityevents.com.

‘Playing in Africa is the motivation because it will be a big exposure for me and a step up the ladder in my career as a footballer.

‘I still have a contract with Hasaacas but I think it will be fair if they let me go, I have paid my dues and served the club since I was 12 so I am begging them to accept the bid from Medeama and release me.’
