Hearts of Oak head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi claims he is not scared of being attacked by angry Phobian fans if the Rainbow club’s results do not improve soon.

His comment follows Hearts’ inability to win a single game since the Japanese trainer took over the 2000 CAF Champions League winners coaching job, leading to threats from some irate Phobians.

They lost by 3-1 to WAFA, and suffered two defeats to Al Ahli Tripoli in Libya on a 5-0 aggregate.

“I am not scared and talking about the passionate fans, I have been in Brazil where there was a situation much worse than here, not only at the training grounds but a lot of supporters throw things at us during games,” Yatsuhashi told Starr Sports.

“So I have been through this situation before but I believe that our supporters are intelligent enough to give us more time. G6 is the final phase of our preparations and we are not taking this like league games. The first league game is when we have to be ready,” he added.

Hearts must now prepare for the Ghalca G6, where they will be facing Aduana Stars and Medeama SC in Group A in a pre-season competition which kick starts early next year.
