NASL side Tampa Bay Rowdies have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian winger Khalif Alhassan on a one-year deal.
The 25-year-old has joined the North American Soccer League side after leaving Portland Timbers.
‘Kalif brings quite a lot to our team,’ Tampa Bay Rowdies Head Coach Stuart Campbell said.
‘When he left Portland, I scouted him at great length and I really liked what I saw.
“The season he had last year in Minnesota only enhanced my opinion of him. He’s comfortable playing on both wings, but he can play centrally as well, so he’s very versatile.’
The former Ghana Under-20 versatileman tallied four goals and six assists in his debut NASL campaign.
