Energetic midfielder Kwadwo Poku is hoping to recover quickly from his minor elbow injury which has kept him on the fringes for some weeks now and join his teammates at Adako Jachie for preparations towards the new season.
‘I have a small problem with my elbow that is why I have not been training. I am currently under close medical examination and I hope to recuperate fully as soon as possible and start full work together with my colleagues’ he said in an interview.
The former captain of the Kotoko reserve side was influential in the Kotoko set-up last season after his loan spell with relegated Kpando Heart of Lions. He is highly remembered for his outstanding show in Algeria which helped Kotoko to draw goalless against Eulma in the first leg of the 2015 CAF Champions in May this year.
