Ghana youth defender Kingsley Fobi to join Granada in January in a year loan deal

Ghana youth international Kingsley Fobi will sign for Spanish side Granada on a year loan in January, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

Fobi, 17, joined the Bianconeri’s youth team about a month ago but the club has agreed to let him move to Granada on loan where he will have first team experience till he turns 18 before returning to the Italian giants.

The budding Ghanaian player was one of the key players for Ghana at the FIFA Under 20 World Cup in New Zealand where he featured as a right-back.

Sources close to the player have revealed that the two clubs have a development partnership as Udinese have been sending players to Granada for proper development.

Nigerian striker Jude Odion Ighalo who was owned by Udinese but was loaned to Granada before later making a deal permanent to Watford.
