The corruption within the governing National Democratic Congress coupled with the Mahama administration’s incompetence has led to an explosion of suffering across the country, and the only lives that have been improved in under President John Mahama are those of NDC supporters, economist Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has said.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo’s running mate, “the life of the ordinary Ghanaian has been deformed and not transformed.”
Dr. Bawumia made these comments at the NPP’s Extraordinary National Delegates’ Conference in Sunyani on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
“It is time to say enough is enough,” he said. “For us in the NPP, we have been handed an all-important task of working hard, campaigning and mobilising the people of Ghana for change.”
He noted that it was time for the party to close ranks and aggressively work to ensure victory for the party and victory for the people of Ghana. “Ghana cannot afford four more wasted years and the drive to redeem the people of Ghana is now,” he said.
In his words, “it is time for us to build a new economy, a new day is coming. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP are coming to deliver a government of solutions to problems and not a government of excuses.”
He said an NPP administration will build the most people-friendly and business-driven economy in Africa.
“For the NPP among others, we have an incorruptible leader in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who will govern with integrity,” he added.
