Sarah Kwablah To SueSarah Kwablah

Lawyers for Sarah Kwablah have warned the media to desist from using photographs of the innocent lady for stories about a lady with the same name.

A-PARTNERS @ LAW say they find the use of the lady’s images for the story, “ASAMOAH GYAN’S SARAH KWABLAH DOZENS OF SEX PHOTOS LEAKED”, illegal because their client is not the lady in question.

In August this year, 23-year-old shop attendant Sarah Kwablah sued Daily Guide and two of its editors over a story the paper carried in June concerning what has become known as the ‘Asamoah Gyan Sex Tape Saga’.

Samson Lardy Anyenini, a lawyer and host of Newsfile on Joy FM, who filed the writ, demanded an amount of GH¢600,000.00 (six billion old cedis) as damages for the publication of a photograph of his client, Sarah Kwablah, in Daily Guide.

While the case is still in court, a section of the media has still mistaking the lady for the one involved in the Asamoah Gyan case whose nude photos are being circulated.

A warning letter issued by lawyers for Sarah Kwablah said: “It is unforgivable that some media outlets continue to use said images initially published by the Daily Guide newspaper despite the targeted Sarah Kwablah appearing before police and in court over reported criminal proceedings involving a musician during which pictures of her (the one who has accused a football star of crimes) were taken and published by other media houses.”

Sarah Kwablah’s lawyers warned that any media house that publishes images of their client to accompany the ongoing criminal proceedings against the targeted Sarah Kwablah “will suffer the consequences by being joined to the suit against the Daily Guide.”

Read the warning notice below:

RE: SARAH KWABLAH

We wish to caution against the continuing use of photographic images of our client by sections of the media like eTV has done on its website today 15th day of December 2015.

A careful examination of the first image posted by eTV would have revealed to authors of that story captioned “ASAMOAH GYAN’S SARAH KWABLAH DOZENS OF S3X PHOTOS LEAKED” a clear difference of persons in whoever it is in the subsequent X-rated images accompanying said story.

It is unforgivable that some media outlets continue to use said images initially published by the Daily Guide newspaper despite the targeted Sarah Kwablah appearing before police and in court over reported criminal proceedings involving a musician during which pictures of her (the one who has accused a football star of crimes) were taken and published by other media houses.

The paper is presently in court to answer for its reckless injurious publications especially after it was obviously misled to act strong in its wrong by ignoring an early warning against further circulation of said images.

We state that any media house that publishes images of our client (the wrong Sarah Kwablah) to accompany reported ongoing criminal proceedings against the targeted Sarah Kwablah (not our client though bearing same name), but reported to be Maurice Ampaw’s client, will suffer the consequences by being joined to the suit against the Daily Guide.

Once more, and for the avoidance of doubt, and for the last time, our client has not, does not know, personally, or has any relationship whatsoever with any football star.

We serve final notice to ALL ERRING MEDIA HOUSES that we are unable to continue to ignore or tolerate the obviously lousy and reckless or malicious publications overtime in the face of the hard ocular evidence to the contrary.

SAMSON LARDY ANYENINI, ESQ.
