Hearts of Oak have opened talks to secure a partnership agreement with Al Ahli in the area of infrastructural investment.

The Phobians are in Tripoli on the invitation of the Libyan club for two international friendly matches.

Hearts, however, want to use the opportunity to seal an agreement with the rich club in order to secure funds in putting up its own sports complex in Accra. “Most of all at Hearts of Oak is to secure a long-term relationship,” Hearts Managing Director Gerald Ankrah disclosed.

“We are interested in investing into erecting a state of the art sports facility just like they have here.

Hearts hope to secure some substantial funds from Al Ahli before choosing between the options of developing their training pitch site in Pobiman or acquiring the training facility of WAFA in Gomoa which is worth $10m.
