Hearts of Oak’s spokesman Kwame Opare Addo insists the massive defeat to Al Ahli in Tuesday’s friendly is not enough to warrant the loss of confidence in the abilities of coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

The Phobians slumped to yet another defeat in their preparations towards mounting a staunch challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Hearts had already suffered a 4-1 defeat to WAFA before making the trip to Tripoli to play Al Ahli in two friendly matches.

But Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s side were clobbered 3-0 by the Libyan giants, with all the damage done in the first half.

These results has fueled doubts over the competence of the new Japanese trainer of the Phobians.

But the club’s spokesman Opare Addo says it is too early to pass such a judgments.

“I don’t think this result warrants the loss of confidence in the new coach,” he said.

“The coach himself has admitted to his own mistakes and during the technical meeting his made this known.

“He also pointed out some of the mistakes of the players in an effort to improve performance.”

Hearts will play the Libyan club in their final friendly match on Friday.
