Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei rued TP Mazembe’s profligacy in front of goal after his side’s embarrassing 3-0 defeat against Sanfrecce in the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday.
The African champions, who reached the finals in their last appearance at the global championship, appeared to crack after losing heavily against the Japanese giants.
“It was good, we had a good first half and we should have taken the lead but second half things changed and we were punished” Adjei told footballmadeinghana.
