Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has revealed Jeffery Schlupp is nursing an injury as the reason for his lack of games in recent weeks.
The Ghana defender has struggled to get into the side since his return from the international break back in November.
Leicester have however fared very well in the absence of the Ghanaian wing-back as they continue to lead the table in the English top flight.
There were even rumours the 22-year-old has even fallen out with his Italian manager.
Claudio Ranieri has however explained the Ghana international is struggling with a hamstring injury with no return date in sight.
“He has an injury in his hamstring the same as Drinkwater, I’m not sure when they will be available,” Ranieri explained.
Schlupp has been limited to 12 starts for Leicester City this season.
