Samuel Opoku Nti has challenged his Kotoko stars to to silence the critics on the pitch ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League.
The club’s General Manager has charged the players to respond to criticism by winning matches.
Kotoko endured a frustrating spell last season where they lost two major trophies.
They failed to defend their Premier League crown and also fell in the FA Cup final against Medeama.
But the club has been the busiest in the transfer market, making significant signings ahead of the new season.
And the club’s chief and legend Samuel Opoku Nti has challenged the players to convince the cynics that they reclaim the crown.
“Let your performance show on the pitch. When fans criticize you don’t respond with your mouth respond on the field from the very fans who sing ‘crucify him’ will later sing hallelujah, he said.
“Your deeds on the pitch will change the perception of fans. Kotoko made me who I am now and the club has the capability of making you great too.
“All you need is a good attitude. Train beyond what coach Duncan takes you through. That was my secret as a footballer.
“Your attitude will make or unmake you.Motivation starts with you. The red jersey is the blood of the Ashanti Kingdom.”
