KSM back with Afia Siriboe in “Dead Goat Wahala” on Dec. 25

The man once nicknamed Ghana’s King of comedy, Kwaku Sintim- Misa (KSM) is set to thrill his numerous fans once again on the 25th of December, 2015, as he plays his most favorite character ‘Afia Siriboe’.

This will be KSM’s third appearance as ‘Afia’ and this time “she” will be focusing on the “Dead Goat Wahala”.

Kwaku Sintim-Misa is urging Ghanaians especially the youth to turn up in their numbers since they are largely the target audience.

KSM’s most popular and well-known performance in the ‘Afia Siriboe’ character was when he played a role as the Founder and Flagbearer of an imaginary political party, the Nokofio Party.

He is however promising the next show will be the best ‘Afia’ play ever, as it is going to be a classic KSM performance full of humor.

Aside giving his fans an exciting comedy show; he says there will be lots of lessons to be taken away when the show is all over. He thus asked the youth to be open-minded to learn from the show.

Asked what keeps him going considering the numerous shows he performs every yuletide, KSM said it is the love for what he does that has kept him moving.

“Well, the love of it, I just love it and it’s something that’s been with me for a long time. I never knew I was going to end up in this but I’ve always loved it. Back in school, I was just enjoying it but it never occurred to me that this was going to be my passion.”

KSM, the Host of the popular ‘KSM Show, previously known as ‘Thank God Is Friday’ on Metro TV, however says he has mastered the act of comedy because he has studied it over time.

“I love it, but I have also studied it. I went to school to study theatre arts for my undergraduate degree and at undergraduate there was a course called understanding the comedic structure. A whole course in comedy and I did it for a whole year. So basically for me it was a hobby, and then it became my passion then something I studied.”

“Dead Goa Wahala” promises to be a very exciting and entertaining show.

The audience is guaranteed to have a thrill of their lives. There is no better way to spend a Christmas evening.

KSM says he expects all ‘Afia’ fans to come have a good laugh and interact with “her” on this festive occasion.

Tickets will be going for Ghc60 regular, and Ghc100 Ghana VIP. The first show starts at 4:00pm and the second show starts at 8:00pm.

Tickets will however be available from the 10th December at the Airport Shell, National Theater, Frankies, Batsona Total, Pulse Fitness, Sapphire and Tema Community 11 Shell.
