Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are close on signing Hearts of Oak outcast Emmanuel Hayford.
Ghanafans.com’s sources close to the Porcupine Warriors indicates that the player has been in talks with the former Ghana Champions after parting ways with the Rainbow Clubs.
Hayford was released by the Phobians on grounds of indiscipline and incompetency.
The 24-year-old battled chronic injuries in his two-year stint at the Club.
The former Amidaus Professional midfielder could be landing a deal with the “Kumapem” Club should both parties agree terms.
Kotoko have already made 11 signings ahead of the new season.
