Finalist: Fiifi Anaman up for Best Column award with piece

Ghanaian football journalist Fiifi Anaman has been chosen by the AISP judging team for Best Column category for his feature on .

Mr Anaman wrote a column on the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars’ drama-filled occurrences at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament titled ‘How the Black Stars stabbed the nation in cold blood’.

The Best Column category write up should be a piece of writing that best demonstrate relevance, knowledge and authority in the field of sports writing which Fiifi Anaman’s piece fitted in perfectly.

The Ghanaian will make a trip to the the glittering Sport Media Pearl Awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi on December 15th where the Pearl trophy will be awarded to the overall winner of each category as well as a cash prizes of USD10,000 for 1st place and USD5,000 for 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Fiifi competes in the final three of the Best Column category with Francesco Caremani from Italy and Johannes Nedo from Germany. wishes Mr Anaman all the best.
