The National Executive Council of the Peoples National Convention are in a meeting ahead of their national delegates congress. 
Citi News sources at the Upper West regional office of the party indicate that the council will be resolved soon to pave way for the congress which is expected to commence later on Saturday.
A total of 1,536 delegates are expected in Wa, the Upper West regional capital to elect a flag-bearer and National Executives for the PNC.
The delegates are currently arriving from the various regions but turn out is likely to be low. 
Less than hundred people are at the jubilee park where the congress is to be held.
The leadership of the PNC has blamed the poor patronage of the congress on the court action filed by some members seeking to disqualify Benard Mornah. 
Mahama Ayariga, Edward Mahama, Benard Mornah and other leaders of the party are present at the congress.
