NPP suspends Agyepong, Crabbe indefinitely

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suspended its General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong and Second Vice Chairman,  Sammy Crabbe indefinitely.

The Disciplinary Committee had asked that Mr. Agyepong be given a 15-month suspension, while Mr. Crabbe was to be suspended indefinitely.

But when the National Executive Committee met in a crunch meeting at the party’s Headquarters on Thursday, they decided to suspend both of them indefinitely.

Mr. Crabbe, who is perceived as an ally to the suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko, refused to appear before the committee after several invitations.

Mr. Agyepong, by his posture, is also perceived to have supported Mr. Paul Afoko, an action considered as an affront to the regulations of the party.
