Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea won 2-1 over Elimina Sharks FC at the Dr. Ndoum Sports Complex in their pre-season preparation ahead of the 2015/16 league season.

Two first half goals from Karim Abedi and Augustine Henneh earned victopry for the Blue of Ghana soccer on Wednesday December 9.

Augustine Henneh connected a pass from Paul Aidoo to get the first goal for the away side under ten minutes into the game.

Newbie Karim Abedi who have just joined Berekum Chelsea from Buipe Riverpool FC, made it two seven minutes later after connecting a tailor-measured pass from former Asante Kotoko winger Richard Oti.

But Charles MCcarty of Elimina Sharks got a 90th minute consolation for the Division One side to end the game 2-1 in favor of Berekum Chelsea.

The 2010/11 Ghana Premier League champions will continue their pre-season ahead of the upcoming season in the Eastern Region where they will lock horns newly promoted second-tier side Planners FC based in Akyem Tafo on Friday December 11.

Elmina Sharks had earlier held FA Cup champions Medeama SC at the same venue to a 2-2 draw earlier in the week.
