Medeama head coach Tom Strand says he is working round the clock to ensure his side is ready for Africa.

The Swedish coach is back into the country to prepare for both the league and the CAF Confederation cup.

The Tarkwa based side beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko last season to secure a ticket to play in the CAF Confederation in the coming season.

He says he is working to ensure his side is ready for both the continental challenge and that of the domestic league season.

“It’s a very long season ahead but we are working really hard to ensure we can compete both in the league and Africa,” Strand said

“The team did well last season but we are looking to make things better in the coming season.”

Medeama finished 11th in the just ended Ghana Premier League but beat Asante Kotoko 2-1 to lift the MTN FA Cup.
