President and bankroller of newly-promoted Techiman City, Kwadwo Ntim ‘Micky’ Charles say his side is geared up for the new Ghana Premier League Season.
The former premier league club won Zone one of the Ghana Division One League last season but their qualification have not been approved by the Ghana Football Association after allegations of bribery and corruption were levelled against them by Wa African United
The Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) then demoted Techiman City to Division Two for their involvement in a match fixing scandal in the just ended Zone 1 league.
But club president Micky Charles claims his club has already qualified to play in the premier league based on the GFA’s regulations regarding promotion and regulation.
‘We have not been demoted from playing the Ghana Premier League, we have qualified and nothing can change that,’Micky Charles Allsports.com.gh.
“We are ready to make an impact in the League. We will jot just add up to the numbers but our aim is to be one of the best clubs in the Premier League next season.”
