Ghana forward Andre Ayew and the rest of his Swansea teammates could be working under David Moyes as new manager by the end of the week.

This was after Swansea slumped to yet another defeat before their home fans to Leicester City on Saturday.

Garry Monk is presiding over perhaps the worst run ever at the Liberty as the Swans have won just once in twelve games.

This is a far cry of the form the Welsh club exhibited at the beginning of the season where they were nearly indestructible.

Saturday’s home defeat to Leicester leaves Garry Monk’s job now hanging by a threat as Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is left with a major decision to make.

Monk himself admitted he wasn’t sure whether he was going to stay on as manager of the side after seeing his side’s impressive form at the start of the season disappear into thin air.

Reports are rife Swansea are already in talks with David Moyes over a move.

The former Manchester United manager is available following his departure from Real Sociedad last month.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is said to have lined up a series of meeting with Garry Monk over his axing in the coming days.

Some reports also suggest the club is eyeing a move for its former manager Brendan Rogers, who was also fired as Liverpool two months ago.

Andre Ayew only joined Swansea from Olympique Marseille in the summer after being convinced by Garry Monk in what is already being touted as one of the best signings of the season.
