Abdul Baba Rahman featured for his Chelsea team in their home game against Christian Atsu’s AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. Chelsea were dealt another blow as AFC Bournemouth took away all three points at Stamford Bridge with a 1-0 victory.

In the Italian Serie A, Kwadwo Asamoah returned to football action for Juventus after a long time out with injury.

The Ghanaian played 69 minutes for Juventus as they won their away game by two goals to nil against Lazio.

Isaac Cofie featured in the full game for Carpi in their goalless draw against AC Milan.

Bernard Mensah made an 80th minute appearance against Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga. The Ghanaian and his side lost by four goals to one against Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

Inaki Williams played 85 minutes for Athletic Bilbao against Malaga as the teams played out a goalless draw in La Liga.

Mubarak Wakaso missed Las Palmas away defeat against Sporting Gijon as the Ghanaian is out injured.

Michael Essien played another full game for his Panathinaikos side when they travelled to Veria FC in the Greece league.

Panathinaikos won the game by a goal to nil with Michael Essien receiving a yellow card.
