Ghana and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper’s trainer Nasamu Yakubu has opened the door to Adam Kwarasey’s to return to the Black Stars after admitting the national team is open to every Ghanaian player with the desire.

Kwarasey has not played for the Black Stars since Ghana’s chaotic world cup campaign in Barzil.

A bust up between the Norwegian born goalkeeper and then coach Kwesi Appiah after he was dropped for Ghana’s game against Germany in the second world cup game in Brazil strained his relationship with the technical handlers of the national team.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper who was handed the best save for the just ended MLS season also accused Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan of influencing Coach Kwesi Appiah’s decision to drop him from the team ahead of that game against Germany.

Wild accusations on goalkeeper’s trainer Nasamu Yakubu’s capabilities also rank very high on Kwarasey’s reluctance to return to the team.

But Nasamau says the door is always open to the Norway-born Ghana international only if he has the desire to play for the nation.

“It’s not about foreigners not at all. It’s about a player playing well and willing to die for the nation,” Nasamu told Accra based CITI-FM

“The door is always open to every Ghanaian who is first of all doing well and also having the willingness to play for the nation.”
