Ghanaian goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has been honored with the 2015 Save of the Year in the Major League Soccer.
The Black Stars goalkeeper who has been an integral part for his side’s success in setting up an MLF finale with Harrison Afful’s Columbus Crew side won the award with his save against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Kwarasey on his road to winning the 2015 Save of the Year saw off 31 other candidates with the final voting for the accolade done on Wednesday night.
This is the first time a player form Portland Timbers has won the Save of the Year honors.
