Liberty Professionals director George Afriyie says the club does not intend to sign former AS Roma midfielder Ahmed Barusso.
The 30-year-old has been training with the Dansoman-based club to spark reports of an imminent return to the domestic scene.
Barusso’s present status is unclear with records suggesting he is still a player of Lega Pro side US Arrezo.
But director at Liberty Professionals says there are no plans to sign the experienced midfielder.
“No,” Afriyie told GHANAsccernet.com in response to reports of an imminent move to Barusso.
“He is just training with us.”
Liberty have a track record of developing youthful talents while remaining competitive in the Ghanaian top flight.
They will be unveiling five of such young talents anytime soon while promoting several others from their U20 side into the first team ahead of the start of the new season.
