Cowbell Santa Funfair
Christmas will come early in Takoradi as the Ghana’s leading producer of powdered milk storms the oil city with the annual cowbell Santa funfair.
The event, which has been running for the past 10years will have thousands of kids converge at the jubilee park to be entertained and showered with gifts by the Cowbell Santa.
This year’s fair, which promise to be bigger and exciting than before will be held on the 5th of December.
The event will be preceded by a weeklong tour of tens of different high schools across the township.
Students in the schools will be the educated on the nutritional benefits of taking cowbell and the need have a healthy meal.
All schools to be visited will be presented with thousands of cedis worth of product from cowbell as well as separate refreshment for student.
The fair will start with a float around the township of Tarkoradi with the Santa reechoing the essence of the Christmas season through numerous giveaways for homes, markets places, schools, workplaces etc. after which he will be driven to the event grounds.
With a whole range of games like the bouncy castle, video games, baloon pop, face painting etc.
children on the event grounds will be treated to one of the captivating funfairs of all-time. There will also be performances from rap and dance groups to entertain the kids.
The fun will continue with the children having their wish list for the festive season met as the pay a visit to Santa in the special Cowbell Santa room.
The Eve of the event will come with a donation from cowbell to two hospitals and 2 orphanages
