Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah’s hopes of trophy success with Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Cup crashed on Wednesday as they suffered a shocking 4-2 loss against Sivas Belediyespor.
Attamah was hoping for a win over third-tier side before home crowd but things went in favour of the visitors as they recovered from an early goal to claim a vital win at the 5 Ocak Stadyumu.
Adana went into the game hoping to transfer their commendable form in the league to the game but they ended up disappointed as they emerged losers and exited the competition.
They must now fully focus their attention on securing promotion to the Turkish top-flight league.
