Ghana coach Avram Grant has praised his Technical team for the support they have offered him in his first year as coach of the Black Stars.
Addressing a press conference held at the GFA Secretariat on Monday, Grant said his assistant Maxwell Konadu and the other back room staff have been very helpful in his first year as head coach of the Black Stars.
In response to a question as to whether he is comfortable with his current back room staff or he will want to make changes, the national team boss stated that:
“I am very comfortable with Maxwell and with the rest of the staff. They have all been doing very well. They have been very helpful especially in the beginning when I took over as head coach.
“In the Black Stars everyone is expected to be good so if they are not good I will be the first to talk about it and tell them to step away”, Grant said at Monday’s press conference.
On his meeting with coaches of the Ghana Premier League Clubs last Friday, Grant said the meeting was very successful and he is looking forward to subsequent meetings.
“It was a good meeting and I enjoyed sharing ideas with them. Through the meeting I got to know some of the problems they are facing and also we tried to see how best they can improve their work.”
“I shared my experiences with them and am looking forward to our next meeting. My door will always open to them with they need any assistance”, Grant added.
