Sagrada Esperança’s Seth Owusu
Angolan side Sagrada Esperança have recalled Ghana defender Seth Owusu from his holiday in his native country, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 25-year-old has returned to the South African country to finalize documentation ahead of the side’s involvement in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Esperança will play in the continental championship following the withdrawal of relegated Onze Bravos.
Bravos, who won the Angolan FA Cup at the expense of Sagrada Esperança, have decided against playing in the competition due to the huge financial implication
They have been replaced by Sagrada Esperança who have confirmed their participation in next year’s competition.
The hugely talented former Hearts and Medeama defender will get the chance to test his mettle against some of the finest sides on the continent when the qualifiers begin in February next year.
