Inter Allies dependable defender, Baba Mensah has joined Swedish giant BK Hacken on a season loan, the club has confirmed.
Baba played an instrumental role in the ‘Eleven is To One’ success last season after finishing the season at the 6th position with 42 points and at the end of the season he was voted as the best defender after beating off competition from Ahmed Adams and Lawrence Lartey.
The 23 year old defender was heavily linked with a move to Sudanese giant, Al Hilal but talks between the two parties fell through.
However, Inter Allies on their official website confirmed the transfer of Baba Mensah to BK Hacken.
‘Inter Allies have reached an agreement with BK Hacken for the transfer of Baba Mensah.
‘The defender will join the Swedish topflight side on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy after the deal ends.’
Baba Mensah was a member of the Ghana U20 national team that won bronze in the FIFA World Cup in 2013 in Turkey and made his senior debut for the national team in a friendly match against Congo this year.
