Liberty professionals coach George Lamptey has exclusively told Joy Sports he will not sign any player for next season’s league.
The Dansoman-based side have lost some key players during the off season notably defenders Alfred Nelson and Tuffuor Frimpong as well as midfielder Kenedy Ashia.
Lamptey who has been in charge at the club for the past three seasons says the strategy to make up for the departed players is to promote players from the club’s youth team.
“I have had a few young players who are doing very well and I think they will be ready for us for next season,” said Lamptey
“There is no money so we are taking boys from the youth team, we have good players there so I’m going to promote about eight of them.”
“My key players for last season have all left so it is a big blow for me but I know the youth boys will do a good job.”
