Hearts of Oak Welfare Officer Sabahn Quaye has dismissed reports he has been demoted.
The charismatic personality is said to have fallen out with the club’s Managing Director Gerald Ankrah leading to his demotion.
According to reports, new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has ordered Sabahn Quaye to no longer sit on the bench for official matches.
But Quaye who also works in a similar capacity with the Black Stars insists these reports are untrue.
“They [reports] are not true,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“My job designation here is Welfare Officer and it remains so.
Sabahn Quaye returned to the Phobians last year after a brief stint with Liberty Professionals.
