Immediate-past Chairman of the Premier League Board Welbeck Abra-Appiah has called on the newly-formed Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association to design an action plan for the day-to-day running of the activities of the legal bodies of the association.

According to the former Okwawu United administrator, the new Ex. Co should be able to come out with a plan that will see the compel the various legal committees to expedite their decision making processes.

Mr. Abra-Appiah contends that the new Ex. Co of the Ghana FA should be able to direct the affairs of the adjudicating bodies of the association to create a smooth commencement of next season’s league.

Two clubs who are supposed to join the league next season from the Division One have not been declared since the bribery allegation tussle between Techiman City FC is with the Ethics Committee of the federation.

Tema Youth have headed to FIFA for a decision with regards to their dissatisfaction over the Ethics Committee’s ruling in a protest they lodged against Dreams FC.

And the PLB former chairman says the Ec. Co must sit up to avoid a repetition of what happened last season.

“I believe the FA Executive Committee is just being professional by leaving the teams involved to exhaust the various adjudication procedures but it is dangerous for the league. I think that they should take a decision that will compel the various bodies to come out with the decision as quickly as possible,” Abra-Appiah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I foresee that if they want the judicial bodies to handle the cases in the normal way, it will not end today. That is what happened last season involving King Faisal and the FA.”

“The Ex. Co should be able to come out and get all the parties involved. Tell the bodies involved to take decisions on the various cases as a matter of urgency so that we don’t face what we experienced last season.”

“They should spell an action plan for the Committee to work on and come out with the decisions in order not to disrupt the program for the upcoming season,” he added.
