With only a few hours to the end of voting for the 2015 BBC African Player of the Year, several current and ex-Black Stars players, as well as Ghanaian celebrities, have joined forces to rally support for the fellow national teammate, Andre Ayew to swoop the award.
Combative midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso has implored fans to start voting aggressively for the deputy captain of the Black Stars.

Ex-captain of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah wouldn’t be left out as he adds his voice to the calls for massive votes for the deputy captain of the Stars.

It is expected that Andre Ayew, who has been Swansea City’s lynchpin so far this season will swoop the award despite stiff competition from players like Yaya Toure, Aubameyang, Sadio Mane and Brahimi.
