Baffoe with the Mezembe Ghanaian quintet
Anthony Baffoe interacted with the five Ghanaian players at TP Mazembe while working as General Co-ordinator for CAF in the finals of the Champions League.
The former Black Stars defender is seen taking a picture with his compatriots after the completion of their official training session a day before the finals between TP Mazembe and US Alger.
The Congolese giants eventually won their fifth African title with a 2-0 win before a packed home crowd in Lubumbashi.
TP Mazembe had secured an important 2-1 win in the first leg against the Algerian side away from home.
They thus only returned to their home grounds in Lubumbashi to finish off the job against USM Alger with Anthony Baffoe serving as the General Co-ordinator for the game.
The former Ghana international’s latest role in the finals of the CAF Champions League adds up to his long list of distinguished achievements since taking up a General Co-ordinating role with CAF and FIFA.
He served in a similar position in the finals of the 2014 World Cup between Germany and Argentina.
