Ga Mashie Homowo Boxing Night fixed for August 15

Box Office Boxing Promotions, will on Saturday, August 15, stage a special boxing event as part of the activities marking the annual Homowo Festival.

The annual Homowo festival is celebrated by the Gas with the sole aim of hooting at hunger.

The event, dubbed “Ga Mashie Homowo Night” at the Seconds Out Gym, Accra, will see Joshua Owusu and Patrick Ayi going into an eight round Featherweight Contest, whilst Sumaila Badu and Daniel Armah, slug it out in another eight round Batamweight contest.

According to the pairings released by Box Office Promotions, Kofi Asamoah and Abdul Aziz Quartey will engage in a six round Super Lightweight contest with Patrick Okine and Francis Appalo battling it out in an eight round Lightweight contest, whilst Wahab Oluwaseum and Samuel Omari will go for an eight round Super Featherweight contest.

Also on the bill are Richmond Djarbeng and Daniel Adjato for an eight round Welterweight contest and Theophilus Quaye and Joshua Kwabena going for a Super Featherweight contest over six rounds.

Razak Nettey and Seidu Amadu will engage in an eight round Featherweight contest, whilst Raymond Commey and Joshua Barnor seeking to undo each other in an eight round Super Batamweight contest.

Emmanuel Danso and Cudjo Darah will go for an eight round Light Heavyweight contest as Isaac Sackey and Micheal Tetteh go for an eight round contest in Super Batamweight with Charles Adamu and Kwesi Tutu completing the night in an eight round Super Middleweight contest.
