Ghana international Sulley Muntari has headed straight to work by beginning training at his new club Ittihad Jeddah on Thursday afternoon.
The 30-year-old trained with his new team-mates first time since signing a two-year-contract on Monday.
Ittihad’s Romanian manager Victor Piturca wants to build his squad for the upcoming season around the experience of Muntari who has vast experience playing in Europe.
An obviously impressed Piturca led the suspended Ghana midfielder through the session as they stepped up their training.
Ittihad will open their season campaign with an away trip to face Najran who have Ghanaian winger Winful Cobbinah in their folds.
