Award Winning Beat-maker cum Music Producer Mr. Appiah Dankwa known as Appietus says, the current President of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour is the most recalcitrant president the musician body has ever had.
According to him, Bice Osei known in known in showbiz as “Obour”, who has being the youngest President of the umbrella body and most prominent association for Ghanaian musicians, (MUSIGA), has refused to take note or listen to any recommendation he made.
Appietus who is a key member of the MUSIGA communication team in an interview with Ashh fm E-Zone said contesting obour is not a threat to his life at all , speaking in the local dialect Appietus said.
He stated that, the lackadaisical attitude of Obour has push him to contest for the position “Obour’s term is almost over and he did not do all the things he said and it is very pathetic.
“Nothing has been done about all the structures we planned to put in place to aid the up and coming artistes for almost four years now.”
Mr. Appiah Dankwa who is aspiring to become the next president for the union said the current president has slowed in controlling the affairs of the union and if he is not booted out the music industry will be smash up.
“He doesn’t push for anything, it seems he is reluctant and if we don’t get rid of him the industry will collapse”, he said.
