The Janeros Beach Hotel in Sakumono in Accra was turned into a hub of excitement and fun last Sunday when Choirmaster held a concert to celebrate his birthday with fans.

The 4:00 pm show powered by Blue Roze Entertainment had in attendance a number of artistes whose performances on the day created the needed feeling for a birthday celebration.

Artistes such as 4×4, Kwaw Kesse, Yaa Pono, Keche, Okyeame Kwame, Opanka, Ephraim, Quarme Zaggy were present to dish out exciting performances.

The rest, Flowking Stone of Bradez, Edem, Ball J, Trigmatic, Dada Hafco, D Cryme and Gemini, were not left out of the celebration. They were in the house to support the birthday boy.

The tone for the evening was set with a performance from highlife artiste, Quarme Zaggy, who thrilled the crowd to some of his known songs such as See Saw and Just The Two of Us.

His performance was the right dosage to get the crowd into frenzy as the other artistes took turns to perform.

Okyeame Kwame, Edem, D Cryme and Trigmatic’s performance sure got the party a notch higher but it was Tema based rapper and hiplife artiste, Yaa Pono, who obviously stole the show on the night.

The artiste got the audience singing to some of his songs such as Tare Tare, Don’t Leave and One man thousand which seem to be the crowd’s favourite.

Yaa Pono later introduced Choirmaster on stage and together they performed Dumsor Party much to the admiration of patrons.

Choirmaster took charge of affairs at about midnight and sang songs from his repertoire including Pull Him Down, Saved By Grace, Bedroom Cheers and Ghana’s Most Beautiful.

For the first time, he performed his new song, Cat Walk, which he said was his birthday present to his supporters who he describes as “my choristers who have been with me all these years”.

Also, DJs Godday and Munor entertained the crowd with good tunes.

Comedian, DKB, armed with rib-cracking jokes as he closed the show which runs into the wee hours of Monday.
