Nick Gordon Found Out About Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death Online, Is “Devastated”

Nick Gordon found out about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death online

On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away at age 22 with her family and friends by her side. One person who was not allowed in the room was her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Gordon is currently estranged from the Houston/Brown family as the mysterious circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s death are under investigation. On Jan. 31, Gordon found the aspiring singer lying facedown in a bathtub at her Georgia home.

According to a source, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend learned of her death ‘just like everyone else did, from the Internet.’ He was still in Florida with his mom at the time the news broke, the insider said, and he is not welcome at her funeral service.

‘Nick is devastated that Bobbi has passed,’ the source tells Us.

Indeed, Gordon’s unofficial stepfather Jack Walker Jr., who was never married to Gordon’s mother but has served as a father figure in his life, told Access Hollywood that Gordon is “distraught” over Bobbi Kristina’s death. “I can’t put it into words right now,” he shared.

That said, Walker Jr. went on to note that, contrary to reports, Gordon is not suicidal in the wake of his longtime love’s death.

Gordon, 25, went into rehab back in April following an intervention on Dr. Phil. Since exiting the facility he has been desperate to see Bobbi Kristina.

‘Krissi was a blessing to this world, she had the power to brighten the day of anyone in her presence. She will dearly be missed,” Walker Jr. added.

Gordon was served papers in Florida earlier this month in a lawsuit involving his alleged treatment of Bobbi Kristina prior to her death. The complaint, which was filed by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator Bedelia Hargrove, claims Gordon dragged Bobbi Kristina by her hair upstairs, took funds out of her account without her authorization, and knocked her teeth out just hours before she was discovered. Gordon was instructed not to open the papers by his lawyers because they were served on a Sunday, which is illegal in Florida.
