lack Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is taking no time to write his goal scoring script in China as he did with former club Al Ain in the Arabian Gulf League.

The former Sunderland player scored on his debut for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG after completing a transfer from Al Ain.

On Sunday, Gyan found the back of the net against Chongqing Lifan as his SIPG side managed a 4-2 victory in the Chinese Super League.

The goal was Asamaoh Gyan’s second in three games for his new club and the win puts Shanghai SIPG top of the Chinese Super League.

Vice-captain of the senior national team of Ghana, Andre Ayew also bagged his first goal for new English Premier League club Swansea City.

The Ghanaian was given a start in the pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest after making two impressive appearances earlier.

Ayew’s goal came in the second half of the game, firing from 8 yards to put Swansea in a 1-0 lead. Nottingham Forest however equalized moments later to end the game at 1-1.

Abdul Baba Rahman, a top transfer target for English Premier League champions Chelsea was also in action for his German Bundesliga club Augsburg.

The Ghanaian started and gave his all in the first half minutes given to him amid reports linking him with a move to Chelsea.

Rahman and his Augsburg side however lost the game by two goals to one to English club Norwich City.

Albert Adomah made a substitute appearance for Middlesbrough in their pre-season friendly game against Doncaster Rovers. The Ghanaian and his side played out a 0-0 draw in the game.

Jeffrey Schlupp made an appearance for Leicester City in their pre-season game against Mansfield Town. The Ghanaian was named on the bench but came on in the 63 minute of the game as his Leicester side played out a 1-1 draw.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu’s Udinese had their game against SPAL 2013 cancelled.

Jordan Ayew missed FC Lorient’s game against Caen as the Ghanaian seeks to force a move out of the French club to Aston Villa. The game ended in a goalless draw.

Chrstian Atsu was not involved in AFC Bournemouth’s goalless draw against Nantes on Saturday. The Ghanaian was not named in the squad that played the game against Nantes.

Frank Acheampong was an unused substitute as his Anderlecht side beat Waasland-Beveren at home by three goals to two.

Daniel Amartey played in the entire duration of the away game for FC Koebenhavn who traveled to play Esbjerg fB in the Denmark Superliga.

The Ghanaian and his side won the game by two goals to one.
