David Duncan has expressed his admiration for his team’s play in their 0-1 defeat against the West African Football Academy (WAFA) on Wednesday at the Sogakope AstroTurf Park.
Majeed Ashimeru struck on the 50th minute mark to push Kotoko further down the league ladder with 7 matches to go.
Despite, WAFA’s victory over the league champions, David Duncan feels his charges were the better side, but luck eluded them.
“I was impressed with my team. Despite, the fact that WAFA always play and train on AstroTurf my side dominated play.
“Throughout the game, WAFA did not create even one opportunity,” David Duncan said in a post-match interview.
Asante Kotoko have another difficult game at home against, the league leaders, Ashanti Gold who were held to a goalless draw at Obuasi against New Edubiase United.
Kotoko are sitting 12 on the league and would have to up to their game to earn a suitable position on the league log.
