Ashanti Gold shot-stopper Fatau Dauda is looking forward to returning to winning ways when they face Edubiase after stumbling to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Lions.

AshGold are sitting first on the league table with 40 points from 22 games but lost 2-1 away to Lions over the weekend.

Bashiru Hayford saw his side’s healthy 7 points at the summit of the league table, cut to four following Chelsea’s dominant display over Kotoko and their loss to Lions.

Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda who has enjoyed some precious game since his return to the First Capital Plus Premier League says its important they return to winning way against Edubiase on Wednesday.

“We know that we have to continue winning if we are to win the league and we

are aware of what the pressure is,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We have done extremely well till now and we are looking to continue with the good work when we face Edubiase on Wednesday.”
