The ace actor, Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo says he remains unbeatable in the local movie industry called Kumawood.
According to him, no one has been able to equal his achievements since he took a ‘sabbatical leave’ from acting.
Agya Koo who revealed this on Adom Fm’s Entertainment show last Saturday said his break created a big vacuum.
“My exist created a big vacuum in Kumawood because no actor had my sense of humour and creativity which lifted the industry, killed the impact of Nigeria movies and also boosted sales” he stated.
He however blamed his seeming exist on sabotage by some movie producers and directors who did not value creativity.
“The truth is only one, no one can say for a fact that Agya Koo’s absence in the movie has not affected the good people of Ghana even those in abroad, because some people wanted to sideline me for no reason. But is good some producers have realized bringing me on board again would help them and the entire nation”, he noted.
Agya Koo has therefore decided to re-launch his movie career to entertain his teeming fans both home and abroad. “There are some young ones in the industry who need to under study the big ‘fishes’ like him than spoiling the business and is good Safo and co had thought wise by bringing him back”, he noted.
He called on his colleagues and movie producers to put their differences aside and forge ahead in unity to move the industry forward.
