Joy Industries Donates To Kukurantumi Presby Primary

Joy herbal industries, operators of Bryte fm has donated assorted teaching and learning materials to the Kukurantumi presbyterian primary school in the Abuakwa north constituency. The items includes boxes of chalk, pens, teachers’ notebooks, branded exercise books, dusters and undisclosed amount of money.

The deputy chief executive officer of Joy Industries, Dr. Harrison Tetteh speaking to the media, emphasised the donation came due to appeal by both the 2nd lady, Mrs. Matilda Amissah Arthur and the headtecher, Mrs. Juliet Oppong.

“As a coperate body we find it important to come and assist the school as part of our social responsibility after hearing an appeal by both the 2nd lady and the headteacher” he stated.

He said his outfit over the years has assisted lots of individuals, groups and organisations and thinks donating to the school has been exceptional since they are the first to benefit from their branded exercise books which is going to be distributed nationwide to schools.

Dr. Tetteh also appealed to coperate bodies, philantropists as well as NGOs to support government to help raise the quality of education in the country.

The headteacher of the school, Mrs. Juliet Oppong was grateful to the leadership of Joy Industries and Bryte fm and pledged to make good use of items in order have positive effect on the quality of education.
